They are currently looking for an Avionics Design Engineer to join their team. Duties – Avionics Design Engineer • Lead the design and integration of avionic systems to meet customer needs and certification standards.
• Translate concepts into detailed, compliant designs aligned with OEM Type Certificates.
• Manage all avionic activities within a multi-disciplinary environment, ensuring timely delivery.
• Capture and interpret customer requirements, providing guidance to optimise design and production.
• Apply Systems Engineering practices, tools, and methods throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support risk management, testing, and certification processes, including ground and flight testing.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain technical competency and stay updated with latest technology developments. Experience/Qualifications – Avionics Design Engineer • Knowledge of aircraft systems, software safety analysis, and certification standards (FAR/CS 27 & 29, EASA/CAA Part-21J).
• Experience AutoCAD and other electrical/harness design tools.
• Experience with design lifecycle management and configuration control.
• An engineering degree or equivalent experince.
