Are you ready to make an impact in the world of automated material handling systems? We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join a global leader in intelligent intralogistics solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement control systems for automated material handling.
Develop PLC software, HMI, and SCADA systems, with hands-on experience in Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.
Emulate control systems in virtual environments for testing and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with CE standards and the Machinery Directive.
Deliver system commissioning and on-site support, providing end-user training.
Collaborate with engineering teams to drive process improvement, quality, and cost optimisation.Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (Electrical/Mechatronics/Controls) preferred.
Hands-on experience with PLC programming, industrial networks (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet IP).
Knowledge of electrical schematics, system integration, and risk assessments.
Full UK driving license required (up to 60% travel).Additional Benefits: Company Car or a monthly gross allowance of £461.
Eligible for overtime, with manager approval.
Hybrid flexibility with a base location in Adderbury. Open to applicants further afield (subject to approval).
