A global engineering business in the Dudley area recruiting for two experiencedMechanical Design Engineerwith strongmachine designskills to design & innovate cutting edge machinery deployed to a range of clients.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer candidate will be involved with everything and will work across the full project lifecycle. This includes from blank sheet design, customer interaction, in-depth CAD design, calculations, FEA, prototyping and taking your design through to manufacture, assembly & installation with a close link-up with the shopfloor.

Due to the interesting nature of their work, the company boast a very high staff retention and a strong workplace culture. The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be granted a lot of autonomy from day one and will also be progressed in the long-run.

Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:

• HNC/D or Degree Level in a Mechanical Engineering
• 3D CAD SolidWorks, Inventor (or similar)
• Strong experience designing Machinery / Lifting Equipment / Automated systems
• FEA & Structural Calculations
• Electrical knowledge (desirable but not essential)
