Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Contract – Central London – Outside IR35 – 6 Months An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well-established design consultancy renowned for delivering high-quality MEP engineering solutions. This is a 6-month contract role, operating outside IR35, based in Central London. Due to a growing project portfolio, we are actively seeking a skilled engineer to support the delivery of a large scale commercial office project. The Role: Develop detailed mechanical designs in line with client briefs Perform mechanical building services calculations Assist in producing mechanical specifications and schedules Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations Provide expert technical support and advice across the project lifecycle Prepare technical statements and reports as required Essential Requirements: Proven background in HVAC design and mechanical building services Strong knowledge of current building regulations and standards Previous experience working on commercial office projects Proficient in conducting site surveys, heat load calculations, and ventilation/steam system design Competent in using design software, especially Hevacomp Excellent time management and organisational skills Effective communicator with strong report writing and presentation skills Self-motivated, driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Supervisory experience is highly desirable Contract Details: Location: Central London Duration: 6 months IR35 Status: Outside IR35 Start Date: ASAP Hybrid For more information regarding the above role, please contact Stephen Tiigah - (url removed)
