Company Overview
Forth Engineering has been finding solutions to customer’s problems in West Cumbria for 22 years. With a head office in Maryport, we work in nuclear decommissioning, agriculture, fishing, research and development, and the utilities sector, providing innovative solutions to our customer’s needs. Following the opening of our Barrow-in-Furness branch in 2018, we expanded our services for the oil and gas, and defence sectors.

• With design, manufacturing, and machining under one roof, we can control our ‘cradle to grave’ engineering solutions to complex problems in any environment. We deliver HD Visual Inspection, HP Water Jet Cleaning, Ultra Sonic Inspection, Debris Recovery, Bespoke Project Solutions and Caisson Inspection.
• Our multi-million pound Deep Recovery Facility provides a test facility unrivalled in the UK and our warehousing facility caters for all our customer’s storage needs.
• Our Trade Counter and call out service supplies, installs and maintains hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. We stock products ranging from valves to high pressure connectors and provide 24/7 technical support.
Company History
Forth was established over 20 years ago as a family business. We started out identifying, servicing, repairing, buying and selling hydraulic and pneumatic parts from Mark's back bedroom at home, to where we are today, employing around 50 people with a turnover of £5 million plus.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
We opened an additional site in Barrow in 2018 to expand our services for the oil and gas, and defence sectors.
